Our GCSE Digital Technology (Software Development route) lessons offer tailored one-to-one online tutoring, fully aligned with the CCEA specification. Students tackle all compulsory and programming-focused units—building a solid foundation in digital skills and creative problem-solving.

Covered Units:

  • Unit 1 – Digital Technology (compulsory): digital data, system software, database and spreadsheet applications, hardware & networks, cyber security, and ethical/social impacts

  • Unit 2 – Digital Development Concepts: computational thinking, programming constructs, design principles, data representation, error handling, and testing methodologies

  • Unit 4 – Digital Development Practice: hands-on development—designing solutions, coding in languages such as Python, Java, C#, testing, documenting, and evaluation

Each session combines clear explanations, project-based tasks, and personalised homework to help students gain confidence and competence in programming and software design.
